How much does event planning cost in Syracuse, NY?

Are your prices flat-rate or hourly?
Our packages are flat-rate, so you always know exactly what you're paying upfront. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees. The only variables are if you add à la carte services or if your event requires extra hours beyond what's included in your package.
What does the Budget Calculator estimate include?
The calculator estimates Syracuse Friendly Events' planning and coordination fees only. It does not include third-party costs like venue rental, catering, photography, DJ, florals, or invitations. Those are separate vendor costs you'll pay directly. We're happy to provide a full vendor cost estimate during your free consultation.
Do you plan events outside of Syracuse?
Yes! We serve all of Central New York including Onondaga County, Oswego County, Madison County, Cayuga County, and beyond. We've planned events in Cicero, Liverpool, Fayetteville, Baldwinsville, Auburn, Utica, and throughout Upstate NY. Travel fees may apply for events more than 60 miles from Syracuse.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we require a 30% deposit to secure your date, with the balance due 30 days before your event. For events booked 60+ days in advance, we offer flexible payment plans. We accept all major credit cards, checks, Venmo, and Zelle.
Can I upgrade my package after booking?
Absolutely! You can upgrade from Day-Of to Partial Planning or Full Planning at any time before your event (subject to availability). You'll only pay the difference. We want to make sure you have exactly the level of support you need.
What types of events do you plan?
We plan all types of events in Syracuse and CNY: weddings, milestone birthdays (Sweet 16, 30th, 50th, etc.), kids birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, graduation parties, holiday parties, and more. If it's a celebration, we're here for it!
